- Protejeaza teava si componentele sistemului de irigat prin eliberarea presiunii
- Se monteaza in partea cea mai de jos a fiecarui circuit pe conducta PEHD
- Numarul necesar de supape este in functie de configuratia sistemului
- Supapa se deschide atunci cand presiunea apei scade pana aproape de 0 (0,09 atmosfere), apoi, la cresterea presiunii, ramane inchisa
